Established in 2020 by Lusanda Sineke, Belz Engineers began as a bold initiative to redefine civil engineering by focusing on sustainable solutions for urban and town infrastructure development. From a modest start, we have grown into a recognized leader in the sector, committed to excellence and ethical practices.

Lusanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSc Eng) which is an honours degree. She obtained her qualification at the University of KwaZulu- Natal. She also holds a Short Learning Programme (SLP) certificate from Varsity College for Project Management and a training certificate in Geographical Information Systems for Renewable Energy Planning from the Kafue Gorge Training Center in Zambia, Central Africa. She is currently enrolled at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) for a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Lusanda has a combined 10 years of pre and postqualification experience in the built environment; particularly in civil engineering infrastructure planning, design and construction i.e water, sewer, stormwater and urban roads. She started her career as a student engineer at one of the leading international civil engineering firms in South Africa and after years of working in the private sector, she then decided to pool her resources and venture into engineering entrepreneurship. This resulted in the birth of Belz Engineers (Pty) Ltd which is a company that offers professional civil engineering and project management services.
